Mon County Assessor’s office holding annual satellite sessions

MORGANTOWN — As he has the last several years, Monongalia County Assessor Mark Musick is once again taking the assessor’s office on the road this summer.

The assessor’s office kicked off its summer satellite schedule Wednesday at Morgantown High School.

The sessions allow county residents to drop off personal property assessment returns. Dog tags can also be purchased. Residents are reminded to bring their assessment returns or online dog invoice.

The remaining dates, times and locations include:

  • July 10 — 9 a.m.- noon — Morgantown High School, Arnettsville Community Center, Clinton Church Pavilion, Clay Battelle High School
  • July 13 — 7 a.m.- 1 p.m. — WVU Health Sciences Building
  • July 14 — 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. — WVU Health Sciences Building
  • July 17 — 3 p.m.- 5 p.m. — Granville Municipal Building
    9 a.m.- Noon — Rock Forge Presbyterian Church, Mountainview Elementary, Star City Municipal Building, Pisgah Church
  • July 20 — 7 a.m.- 1 p.m. — Mon Health Medical Center
  • July 21 — 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. — Mon Health Medical Center
  • July 22 — 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. — CMA Church
  • July 24 — 9 a.m.- Noon — Westover Senior Center Pavilion, Cheat Lake Fire Hall, Cheat Lake Library, Morgantown Mall, Mason-Dixon Historical Park
  • July 27 — 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. — Mountaineer Mall

The filing deadline for personal property assessment returns is Oct. 1.
