Newsroom@DominionPost.com

Main Street Morgantown is adding more color to the downtown.

In collaboration with the City of Morgantown’s Arts and Cultural Director Vincent Kitch, Main Street Morgantown has six West Virginia Division of Highways signal boxes wrapped in the downtown area.

The  artists  involved are Taylor Pate, Caroline Murphy, Patricia Loy-Colebank, Connie Mae Moeller, Elijah Pollard and Maggie McDonald.

Main Street Morgantown’s mission is to preserve the downtown and historical wharf district and promote the revitalization of the areas.

The Organizational Arts Grant is made possible through a collaborative effort between Your Community Foundation and the Arts Council of Greater Morgantown, with funding from the City of Morgantown, the Monongalia County Commission and the Douglas H. Tanner Memorial Fund for the Arts.
