Christy Lynn Brooks, 52, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at Mon Health Medical Center. She was born Jan. 4, 1969, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Damon Gale Nuce and Donna Marie Shahan Nuce.
Christy was employed as a realtor, was passionate about her work and was a true social butterfly. Her life revolved around her children and their activities in dance, football and wrestling. She could always be found with a huge smile and a Diet Coke in her hand.
Christy is survived by her daughter, Zoe Elizabeth Brooks, and son Zachary Hunter Brooks; her sister, Pam Moore, of Morgantown; many nieces and nephews; and best friend, Eve Ward, of Morgantown.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Christy’s memory to the a trust fund set up to benefit her children, by making a check payable to: Christy L Brooks Living Trust c/o Natalie Sal, 11 Commerce Dr. Suite 103, Westover, WV 26501.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road Morgantown, from 1-3 p.m. and 5-9 p.m., Thursday May 13. Following CDC guidelines, masks must be worn, social distancing practiced and limit visitation time to 15 minutes.
