Trinity boys fall to Linsly 72-58

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Despite leading after the first two quarters of the game, the Trinity Christian School boys’ basketball team fell to Linsly, 72-58, on Tuesday, March 9.

The Warriors (2-1) were outscored, 43-23, in the second half. Gavin Jackson led the team in scoring with 28 points. James Bourne added 14.

“Tonight, we came out the first half and played well. The second half, we came out a bit sluggish and had a couple of turnovers that hurt us,” Trinity coach Rick Hill said. “I give credit to Linsly, they came out the second half and shot the ball well.”

TCS will play again at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 11, against Berkeley Springs.
