New Year’s Eve night out options

The countdown to 2021 is on, Mountaineer Country! Celebrate the new year in our Almost Heaven region by involving your business/organization in VMCCVB’s initiatives and planning a fun evening while supporting local.

New Year’s Eve Events 

Whether you are looking for a complete event or you want to safely visit a restaurant for the evening, we have a list of the best locations to ring in 2021. Start making your resolutions and plan where you will be celebrating.

A New Year’s Eve Buffet will start at 4 p.m. at the Preston County Inn. Be sure to reserve your spot before seats fill up. Cost is $25.95 per person.

Join Alpine Lake Resort for their New Year’s Prime Rib Special. Say farewell to 2020 with a 12-ounce prime rib with au jus and a creamy horseradish sauce, served with a side salad and your choice of dessert. Available from 4-8 p.m.

Ready, set, throw! Book a lane with up to eight close friends and family this New Year’s Eve at Mountain Man Axe Throwing for $350, which includes two one-topping pizzas and one free beverage per person. The fun takes place from 9 a.m. to midnight.

For $75 per person, enjoy a four-course meal from Table9 to dine the remaining hours of 2020 away. Meals are available in person or to go and guests will have the option of selecting from one of more than three delicious choices per course.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve with Tropics at The Cranberry Hotel. Enjoy an intimate dinner and overnight accommodations at the newest hotel on Cheat Lake. Reserve your New Year’s Eve package to receive dinner for two, a bottle of champagne, an overnight stay and breakfast.

Make it a staycation and book a night at Morgantown Marriott for their New Year’s Eve package. To celebrate the occasion, Morgantown Marriott will provide guests with a special rate, sweet treats, a bottle of champagne, check-out flexibility and more.

Heading to Downtown Morgantown? Enjoy free parking, courtesy of the Morgantown Parking Authority, in all metered lots and gated and metered parking garages through 5 a.m.  Monday.
