KINGWOOD — Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital has acquired the medical practice Total Family Care in Kingwood.

“Preston Memorial Hospital prides itself on meeting the needs of our community, one family at a time,” said Melissa Lockwood, Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital chief administrative officer. “The acquisition will expand our reach to improve the health of our community through coordinated primary care for more patients. I am thrilled to add Dr. Julia Ramberg to our great group of providers who have an outstanding reputation in our community.”

The Total Family Care acquisition went into effect Dec. 14, when the practice became Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital Primary Care Kingwood.

“It has always been my goal to provide care to my patients, in the same way I would want my family to be cared for,” said Ramberg, Total Family Care owner.

Ramberg’s inspiration to become a physician came from her mother, who always told her to “meet the needs,” a sentiment she carries with her each day with every patient.

“I feel grateful and privileged to have the opportunity to join the Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital family,” Ramberg said.
