Trinity Christian School first-year Athletic Director Roy “Bogie” Boggess is no longer an employee with the school, as confirmed by Superintendent Michelle Stellato.
Boggess joined the Trinity staff as the athletic director, director of student success and high school boys’ basketball coach in July after months of searching and interviewing possible candidates. The boys’ basketball head coaching and athletic director positions opened in April when Trinity released John Fowkes from his contract.
“I am disappointed that the actions of a few individuals who have exercised authority well beyond that permissible by the Trinity Christian School Bylaws and the West Virginia NonProfit Corporation Act has harmed so many in the Trinity community,” Boggess said. “I intend to exercise every available legal and equitable remedy at law.”
Prior to joining TCS, Boggess was head coach of the Alderson Broaddus women’s basketball team.
