West Virginia’s game vs. Coppin State postponed

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- The West Virginia women's basketball team announced that next week's home contest against Coppin State on Dec. 22 has been postponed due to the Golden Eagles pausing team activities related to COVID-19.

The two schools hope to reschedule the game with a mutually agreeable date later in December. More information will be released as it becomes available.

The Mountaineers depart for their first Big 12 road contest, as they travel to Oklahoma State on Friday. Tipoff at Gallagher-Iba Arena, in Stillwater, Okla., is set for 7:30 p.m.
