WVU’s special teams came up big with a fumbled punt recovery.

TCU’s Trevon Moehrig couldn’t handle the punt and WVU’s Sean Mahone came up with the recovery at the TCU 42.

After Sam James rushed for four yards, Doege found Simmons in one-on-one coverage on the right side. Simmons hauled in the pass and then carried in the TCU defender for the extra five yards for the touchdown.
