R. Jeannine Mankins

Rosemary Jeannine Miller Mankins, 78, of Martinsburg, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020, at the Hospice Inpatient Facility.

Born on Nov. 24, 1941 in Kingwood, she was the daughter of the late Howard Clarence Miller and Mary Agnes Hartsell Miller.

Rosemary was a member of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, in Grafton. She graduated from St. Mary’s School of Nursing with an RN degree. She was a school nurse for the Taylor County School System.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Edgar Mankins; three sons, M. Douglas Mankins and wife Mary, of Suffolk, Va., Scott D. Mankins and wife Cassie, of Winchester, Va., and Brad Lee Mankins and wife Amy, of Fayetteville; six grandchildren, Abby Miller and husband Stephen, Jackson Mankins, Rachel and Lauren Mankins, Brian Ball and wife Tracey and David Ball; two brothers, Marshall F. Miller and wife Patti Lou, of Terra Alta, and Howard J. Miller, of Parkersburg; one sister, Carol A. Vogler and husband Lawrence, of Charles Town; and five great-grandchildren, Cooper Miller, Jordan, Anna, Andrew and Natalie Ball.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Dolores J. Mankins.

A memorial service will be held in Grafton, at a later date. Interment will be private.
