WEIRTON, W.Va. — The University High golf team finished third with a score of 257 in an invitational at Williams Country Club.
Morgantown finished sixth with a score of 279, and Preston finished last with a score of 300.
Jack Giobbia led the Hawks after shooting an 83. Landon Spiker shot an 86, Alex Soloman shot an 88 and Zach Harman shot a 109.
Conner Decker led the Mohigans with a score of 89. Ethan Wise, Braxton Martucci and Isabella Ferrell each shot a 95.
Briar Manko led the Knights with a score of 90. Stephen Felton shot a 99, Preston Stithem shot a 111 and Chayce Andrew shot a 116.
The Mohawk Cup is slated to be played at 3:50 p.m. Thursday at Mountainview Golf Course.
