Hundreds of veterans who have served the country are buried at the historic Oak Grove Cemetery in Morgantown.

The Elizabeth Ludington Hagans – Col. John Evans Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution wants to  show honor for every veteran buried there by placing a wreath of remembrance on their  graves.

In addition, the chapter will continue to support the purchase of wreaths of remembrance for the West Virginia national and state cemeteries in Graftion.

This year is especially difficult because of so many canceled fundraisers.

Each wreath costs $15. Donations can be made one of two ways:

  • A check can be sent to DAR Hagans-Evans Chapter, 463 Cobun Ave., Morgantown WV, 26501-6153; designated for Wreaths Across America on the memo line.
  • A direct donation can be mailed or made to Wreaths Across America, P.O. Box 249, Colombia Falls, ME, 04623. Please include the cemetery location number WVOGMT and  Group ID WV0036P with your donation
