WHEELING, W.Va. — After a slow start, the University High boys’ soccer team managed to score three goals in the second half to defeat Wheeling Park, 3-1, on Thursday.
For the Hawks (2-0), Charlie Walker, Stefan DeMoss and Riley Nett each scored goals. Nett’s came on a penalty kick in the 70th minute. Kellen Adams and J.M. Jones each collected assists. Timmy Bailey recorded two saves in the net.
