Mountaineer Country Commitment to Safety Program

On June 22, VMCCVB officially launched its Mountaineer Country Commitment to Safety Program, where tourism partners in the region can pledge to take precautionary measures when reopening during COVID-19 for the safety of visitors and employees.

For tourism-related businesses to make the safety commitment, they must go to VisitMountaineerCountry.com/Safety-Commitment and review the official Commitment guidelines.

These guidelines are subject to change as Gov. Jim Justice’s office releases more COVID-19 guidance.

All American Grand Bash goes virtual

Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in Monongalia County, and southwestern Pennsylvania, the All American Grand Bash will be held via online livestreaming on July 25.

Grand Bash event staff worked with numerous partners to confirm these decisions, including West Virginia Office of the Governor, West Virginia Lottery Commission and Monongalia County Health Department.

As cases of COVID-19 for both target audience regions continue to increase, Grand Bash staff and partners wanted to be responsible by taking this proactive approach.

All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the restructured event. No refunds for previously purchased main event tickets will be issued.

Due to the change in event operations, certain side raffles have been canceled. The Grand Bash team will reach out to these purchasers to discuss alternate options in the coming weeks. All other side raffles will be drawn during the virtual event.

The Grand Bash will release new side raffle opportunities as the event date approaches.

The livestreamed event may be accessed at AllAmericanGrandBash.com or on the Grand Bash Facebook page from 1-7 p.m.
