No local bus service on July 4 

Mountain Line Transit Authority reminds its riders that there will be no local bus service on Fourth of July, Saturday. Normal service will resume Sunday.

Grey Line service between Clarksburg and Pittsburgh will run as usual throughout the holiday. Grey Line reservations may be made online through the Grey Line website at ridegreyline.org or at Westover Terminal.

For information on all Mountain Line bus routes and schedules, riders can call 304-291-RIDE (304-291-7433) during normal hours of operation or visit busride.org.

Anna Jarvis Music In The Park Show 

 The Anna Jarvis Music In The Park Show is set for 6-9 p.m. Saturday.

The lineup will be the Anna Jarvis Stage Band, open mic, and Tygart Junction Band.

 Admission is a $6 donation for adults; free for children. Food will be available. No alcohol allowed. Bring your lawn chairs. There will be fireworks following the show.

Free outdoor concert at Prickett’s Fort 

A free outdoor concert is set for 7 p.m. July 10 at Prickett’s Fort State Park Outdoor Amphitheater. 

 Bear Hill Bluegrass will perform traditional bluegrass and gospel music, with a combination of high energy, comedy and audience participation.

 The amphitheater provides permanent seating. Prickett’s Fort State Park is 2 miles off of Interstate 79, at Exit 139.

 In case of inclement weather, there will be no change of venue or change of date due to COVID-19 restrictions. The concert will be canceled.
