Scouts Aim for a Home Run

The Juniors of Girl Scout Troop 51108 are getting creative on their way toward earning their Bronze Award. The award is the highest a Junior — 4th and 5th graders — can earn. It requires a minimum of 20 hours of service.

The girls chose to paint the Granville Softball Fields’ dugouts and concession stands. Troop members are recreating the murals originally painted by Patty Loy-Colebank, owner of Patty’s Art Spot, as well as designing and painting their own. They will finish up their work today.
