Playing dress up

The Dominion Post has a longstanding tradition of covering our local high school proms.

Usually, our photographers stop by the schools to get photos of seniors dressed in their best, celebrating the milestone with their friends.

This year, as with so many other things, proms fell prey to coronavirus cancellations, and students were left without that last dance.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t still showcase our seniors in the finery they purchased before their proms got quashed by this pandemic.

We asked area seniors to send us photos of themselves dressed up, so the community could wish them well — and enjoy those pretty dresses and nice suits.

The dances may be on hold for now, but these area teens still have bright futures ahead of them, and plenty of chances to make some moves.
