Man found after drowning in Cheat River

The body of a man who drowned in the Cheat River was recovered in Preston County.
According to a witness, the man was pulled from the river Friday morning outside Rowlesburg, along U.S. 50.
The Preston County Sheriff's Department, Preston County Dive Team, State Police, Division of Natural Resources officers, and others were at the scene.
More information is expected to be released later by police.
