Businesses, foundations and individuals in the community have also made generous contributions. YCF recognized the EQT and Giant Eagle Foundations for recent donations to this fund.

“We are grateful for the generosity of our community in supporting the nonprofits on the front lines of this pandemic,” said Patty Showers Ryan, YCF president. “These organizations are working hard to address the needs of the most vulnerable among us, while facing unprecedented financial strains. We are pleased to coordinate this effort to provide them with emergency funding to support the clients they serve.”

In order to continue making grant awards to address the impacts of COVID-19, YCF encourages additional donations to the Emergency Impact Fund. The entirety of all donations will be distributed directly to local nonprofits most impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
