Brian Colebank

Brian Edward Colebank took his first breath on Nov. 25, 1977, in Morgantown, son of Connie Colebank and the late Norman Colebank. Brian took his last breath on March 27, 2020, with his wife and mother by his side.

Brian was a loving and caring father and husband. “Big B.” loved his many friends and family. One of the many things Brian enjoyed was sports. He always cheered on the Steelers and the Mountaineers. As a proud University High School alumni, he was always supporting the Hawks. He was a Cardiac Kid from the 1994 Football Season. In Brian’s spare time, he coached flag football at Pro Performance and WesMon baseball. Brian graduated and was class president at WVJC. He worked for Xerox with his IT degree.

Brian always said his greatest accomplishment in life was his family. Brian married the love of his life Misti Rae and they share two adoring sons, Noah Ray and Colton Ray. Colton loved building LEGOs with his dad and big brother. After everyone went to sleep, Noah and Dad would stay up late watching NCIS. The family enjoyed weekly dinners at his mom’s house. Brian was lovingly nicknamed “HubGrub” by Misti’s coworkers because he brought her lunch almost everyday. He always said that Misti was his soulmate and best friend.

Brian is survived by his wife, Misti, two sons, Noah and Colton, and mother Connie Colebank. He is also survived by his siblings, Debbie (Bob) Carter, Rick (Marsha) Colebank, sister-in-law Jackie Colebank, and many nieces and nephews.

Brian is preceded in death by his father, Norman Colebank and brother, Thomas Colebank.

Due to COVID-19, there will be no service at this time, but instead a memorial will be held later this year.

Hastings Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
