Kingwood offices closed to walk-ins

KINGWOOD — Kingwood City Hall is closed to walk-in business, but customers can make appointments if necessary.

Payments can still be put through the drop slot at the drive-through, but no face-to-face business will be conducted at the drive-through. Payments can also be mailed in or made online.

If someone needs to be seen personally — for example, to sign up for service — call city hall at 304-329-1225. Employees will take as much information as possible over the phone and make an appointment for the customer.

Preston BOE will live-stream meetings

KINGWOOD — The Preston County Board of Education will meet in regular session at 5 p.m. Monday, but the public will not be permitted to attend.

Instead, as a precaution against the coronavirus, the meeting can be seen through Live Stream. To access the Live Stream, go to www.prestoncountyschools.com. The link will be on the left side of the page.
