Patrons not allowed in Kingwood Public Library

KINGWOOD — The Kingwood Public Library will no longer allow patrons inside, as a precaution against the spread of the coronavirus.

Patrons can call, email or Facebook message and request the books wanted. Library staff will call you back to confirm.

Call the library when you arrive and wait in the parking lot. The items requested will be set outside on the cement by the side door for pick up. If holds come in, staff will call to arrange pick up.

Books can be returned in the book drop by the side door. No fines will be assessed during the shutdown.

Wireless slips will be taped to the door for people to use the wireless internet from their cars, on the porch out front or on the bench.

Staff will be working inside the building while practicing social distancing as much as possible.

The library staff apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause but are aware that we need to protect patrons, staff and the community from the impending COVID-19 outbreak.
