Clay-Battelle girls fall to Gilmer County 68-40

GLENVILLE, W.Va. — The Clay-Battelle High girls’ basketball team struggled offensively in its sectional semifinal loss to Gilmer County, 68-40, on Tuesday.

The Cee-Bees (13-11) scored just 27 points in the first three quarters of the contest, and allowed Gilmer County to score 63.

Liv Ammons led Clay-Battelle in scoring with 18 points, and Autumn Stewart added 12.
