West Virginia University chapter of Ducks Unlimited slated to host annual banquet

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The West Virginia University chapter of Ducks Unlimited is hosting its annual wetland conservation banquet on Saturday, Feb. 29, at the Erickson Alumni Center.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner starting at 7 p.m. and an auction taking place at 8 p.m.

The event is open to the public and you don’t need to be a member to attend. Tickets are $45 for students, $65 for non-students and $90 for a couple. Sponor tickets are $280 for an individual, $300 for a couple and $500 for a corporate table. Tickets include the dinner and a one-year membership to DU.

Ducks Unlimited is a leader in wetlands conservation, and is the world’s largest non-profit organization in such. Since its establishment in 1937, the organization has conserved more than 14 million acres. Conservation projects are funded by donations from supporters.
