FAIRMONT, W.Va. — Fairmont State’s Rachel Laskody reached an impressive milestone during the Falcons’ 105-98 overtime road win over Urbana.

Laskody, a senior, scored her 1,000th-career point, the 33rd player to reach that feat in program history. She finished the game with 19 points, nine rebounds and six blocks. So far this year, Laskody is averaging 14.8 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.

Laskody, a 2016 Morgantown High grad, helped the Mohigans win state championships in 2014, 2015 and 2016. She was a second-team all-state selection as a senior and honorable mention as a junior, and during those two years, MHS went a combined 51-2.
