Noan Phu Tran, 87, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born Sept. 22, 1932, in Canton, China.
She was a homemaker in every sense of the word, helping to care for her family and in the raising of her grandchildren. It was her nature to help anyone that may need help.
Noan also worked tirelessly in her son, Kurt’s, restaurant, Peking House.
She is survived by two sons, Kurt Ly and Robert Ly; three daughters, Diem Anh Ly, How Thanh Ly and Thuy Linh Ly; one sister; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Dering-Henson Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15. There will be a traditional last rites service in the funeral home at 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16, with Buddhist Master Vandam of Washington, D.C.
Burial will follow in the National Memorial Park, Fairfax, Va., at 2 p.m. Caring services are provided by Dering-Henson Funeral Home.
