An Anmoore man was arrested after he hit a pedestrian and fled the scene on Thursday, according to police.

The 48-year-old was traveling east on Pleasant Street, in a 2002 Chevrolet truck, when he struck a woman who was crossing the street, according to a criminal complaint. Mcie left the crash scene without speaking to the victim, providing insurance or vehicle information to the victim, or speaking with the police.
