Fire Marshal launches investigation into blaze that destroyed home

REEDSVILLE — The State Fire Marshal has been called in to investigate a Wednesday fire that destroyed a Stull Hill home, off W.Va. 92.

The owner came home from work Wednesday to find the double wide home mostly burnt to the ground. One of her dogs was found alive, but the other was not located, Newburg Fire Chief Bill Larew said.

Newburg, Kingwood and Reedsville Volunteer Fire Departments responded to the afternoon call. Preston Sheriff’s Deputies also responded.
