How they scored: Missouri 38, West Virginia 7

First quarter

MISSOURI FIELD GOAL: Tucker McCann 44-yard kick (8:34), Missouri leads, 3-0.

After both teams traded punts to start the game, Missouri struck first with a 9-play, 34-yard drive that set up McCann’s kick.

The highlight of the drive was Tyler Badie’s 11-yard run on third-and-two.

MISSOURI TOUCHDOWN: Albert Okwuegbunam 26-yard pass from Kelly Bryant (4:47), Missouri leads, 10-0.

After Missouri defensive back Nick Bolton intercepted WVU’s Austin Kendall, the Tigers responded and needed just three plays to cover 72 yards.

Larry Roundtree III and Badie covered 31 yards on the ground and a defensive pass interference added 15 more, before Bryant found his 6-foot-5 tight end down the right sideline for the score.

Second quarter

MISSOURI TOUCHDOWN: Roundtree III 10-yard run (13:02), Missouri leads, 17-0.

The Tigers took advantage of another interception thrown by Kendall and covered 59 yards in 11 plays.

Roundtree rushed for 36 yards on the drive and also caught a pass for eight more.

MISSOURI TOUCHDOWN: Okwuegbunam 16-yard pass from Bryant (5:36), Missouri leads 24-0.

Following a missed field goal by WVU, Missouri scored on its fourth consecutive possession when Bryant hooked up with his big tight end again.

Missouri went 72 yards in 12 plays on the drive and Bryant completed 3-of-4 attempts for 47 yards. He also rushed twice for nine yards.

MISSOURI TOUCHDOWN: Barrett Banister 3-yard pass from Bryant (:23), Missouri leads, 31-0.

After sacking Kendall on a fourth-and-five play, Missouri scored on its fifth straight possession with an 11-play, 47-yard drive.

Badie rushed for nine yards on third-and-two to keep the drive going and then Bryant scrambled for 12 more to help set up the short touchdown pass.

A questionable pass interference call on third down put the ball at the 3 and Bryant threw his third touchdown on the next play.

Fourth quarter

MISSOURI TOUCHDOWN: Nick Bolton 20-yard interception return (12:07), Missouri leads 38-0.

Jack Allison subbed in for Kendall and on his first drive, the transfer from Miami threw a pick-six.

Alec Sinkfield began the drive with a two-yard loss on a run before Allison completed a short pass to Mike O’Laughlin.

His next pass was intercepted and returned for a score.

WEST VIRGINIA TOUCHDOWN: George Campbell 46-yard pass from Kendall (5:13), Missouri leads, 38-7.

Kendall came back into the game and engineered a 5-play, 65-yard drive that ended with Campbell’s second touchdown grab of the season.
