The Julie Foster Hawk Walk at UHS Saturday included a cornhole tournament, competing to win a handmade cornhole set.

The 10th annual Julie Foster Hawk Walk took place 1-3 p.m. Friday at University High School. The Hawk Walk was founded to raise money to support then-UHS teacher Julie Foster in her battle against colon cancer. Since then, the Hawk Walk has raised funds for different cancers, diabetes, flood relief, mental health and the Julie Foster emergency fund for UHS faculty. This year, the donation will be made to the WVU Cancer Institutes Comfort Fund.

Students, family and community members turned out for the event.
