Claude S. Sigley

Claude S. Sigley, 60, of Waynesburg, Pa. (Whiteley Twp.), passed away late Sunday evening, June 23, 2019, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital after a long and hard fought illness.
Born Dec. 31, 1958, in Painesville, Ohio, he was a son of the late Claude Sigley and the late Sylvia McCauley Sigley Gallagher
On June 21, 2019, he celebrated 39 years with the love of his life, Vickie Linn Straight Sigley, who survives him. Additionally, he is survived by four children, Claude Michael Sigley and wife, Melisa, of Hurricane, Jeremy Scott Sigley and wife, Amanda, of Bridgeport, and Vanessa Marie Sigley and Amanda Jean Sigley, both of Morgantown; six grandchildren, Gunnar, Quincy, Corey, Tori, Teddy and Iris; and a sister, Gloria Flanik and husband, Gerry, of Mentor, Ohio.
Claude was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked for many years as an Engineer at TRW in Painesville. He also worked for 10 years for WVU as a professional technologist.
He was your general “jack of all trades” who could pretty much fix anything. He collected and flew drones in his spare time. Claude was a proud family man who dearly loved his wife, children and grandchildren.
Claude’s family will honor his wishes and celebrate his life privately. No public services are scheduled.
