John Joseph Croskey Jr.

John Joseph Croskey Jr., 20, of Albright (Hudson Community), passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019, at his home.

The son of John Joseph Croskey, Sr. and Heidi Elizabeth Savage Croskey, he was born Nov. 7, 1998, in Chester, Pa.

Johnny was a 2017 graduate of Preston High School where he excelled in athletics and earned state honors in soccer and lacrosse. His passion for music included playing guitar and bass, singing and writing music. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting with his friends in West Virginia.

After spending a year in Florida, where he learned Smart Home Technology, he came home to learn the family business.

Johnny was a passionate young man who had a contagious smile and an outgoing personality, and he liked to make people laugh. He touched and impacted many lives and will be truly missed by his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Johnny is survived by his sisters Stacey M., Joanna L., Andrea K. and Mary E. Croskey; brother-in-law, Steve Suarez; and nieces, Sayge M. McKay and Selena Suarez.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial celebration at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, June 27, with Pastor Mike Robinson officiating.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Johnny Croskey Memorial Fund for Drug Awareness.
