Harry Drew III

Harry M. Drew III, (Mark or Drewbie), of Morgantown died May 7, 2019,  at the age of 59,   after a brief illness in Baltimore,  with his family.
Mark lived and died on his own terms.  He had beaten cancer early in life and upon learning of another cancer diagnosis decided to focus on enjoying life instead of fighting another battle.  He spent the last weeks of his life going to festivals, spending time with family and enjoying the outdoors.

Those who knew Mark, loved Mark.  He was a loyal friend, hard worker, and devoted to his family.
Mark loved good music, the great outdoors, a good cup of coffee, and a puff on a cigarette.  As a loyal Republican, Mark was a strong supporter of Donald Trump and enjoyed tormenting his sister with Trumpisms.   Many knew Mark as the guy that they always saw walking around town.  He walked the trail, the streets, at the arboretum, and just about anywhere else you can imagine. He met many people on his walkabouts and always had a story to share when he returned.

Mark will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille; and his father, Harry.
He is survived by his sister, Catherine (Katie); his nephew, Drew Boken; and several beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
He requested that his friends and family not waste their time on a memorial service or “any such nonsense”.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Arbor Day Foundation or, better yet, go wash your car or help someone “unfortunate” because Mark was above all practical and kind.
