MORGANTOWN — A motorcyclist is dead after a two-vehicle accident near The Shack Neighborhood House on Monday according to Monongalia County Sheriff Perry Palmer.
The crash on Blue Horizon Drive was reported about 11:30 a.m.
A motorcycle and passenger vehicle were involved in the crash and the motorcyclist died as a result of injuries caused by the crash, Palmer said. The driver of the passenger vehicle was no injured.
The accident is under investigation and no more information is being released, Palmer said. The victim’s name is being withheld pending the notification of his or her family.
Mon Health EMS and Cassville Volunteer Fire Department also responded to the scene.
