West Virginia men’s golf team ties for third at Seminole Intercollegiate

MORGANTOWN — The West Virginia men’s golf team finished the Seminole Intercollegiate in Tallahassee, Fla. on Sunday in a tie for third place with Jacksonville. Junior Etienne Papineau led the way for the Mountaineers, shooting three under par during the event and tying for sixth place.

“This was a big finish for us,” WVU coach Sean Covich said. “To hang in there and be competitive with teams like Florida State, Louisville and Wake shows just how far we’ve come. I’m really proud of all five of our guys this week.”
