Norma Neubauer

Norma Rosalie (Prince) Wheeler Neubauer, 86, of Morgantown,  passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Norma was born January 16, 1933, in Brownton,  a daughter of the late Worthie Reed and Audrey Sarah (Braham) Prince.
At an early age Norma gave birth to her three children, Sue, William Jr. and Gary. She raised her children with her mother, Audrey, brother, Leonard, and sister, Sandy.
Norma enjoyed waitressing which is where she met the love of her life, Richard Neubauer. She followed Dick to Omaha, Neb., where they got married and lived until Dick’s passing in 2001. At that point Norma decided to move back to Morgantown  to be close to her children and grandchildren. Norma loved spending time and telling stories with family. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, being outside, and she also enjoyed spending time at the casinos.
She is survived by her three children, Sue Squires and her husband Gary, of Morgantown,  William Wheeler Jr., of Kingwood,  and Gary Wheeler, of Omaha, Neb.;  sibling, Bill Prince, of Kingwood,  Leonard Prince and his wife Carole, of Florence, S.C., and Sandy Lawson and her husband Doug, of Bristol, Tenn., Mary Prince, of Masontown; grandchildren, Scott Squires, Gary Squires Jr, Kerrie Knotts, Robert Wheeler, and Jason Wheeler; great-grandchildren, Mitchell Thrift, Karlee Knotts, Gracie Hansen, Reid Hansen, Josie Wheeler, Jordan Squires, Gavin Squires, Carson Squires, Aiden Squires and Lauren Squires; and great-great-grandchild, Haven Thrift.
In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Neubauer; her sister, Bonnie Savage; her brother, Robert Prince; grandson, Bryan Wheeler; and  daughter-in-law Jo Ann Wheeler.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel, 295 South Price Street, from 3 – 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, and from 10 a.m.  on Saturday, Feb. 23,  until the time of the service  at 11 a.m. with Pastor Derek Syruws officiating. Following the service cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rotruck-Lobb crematory in Kingwood.
