MORGANTOWN — Two assisted living facilities crowned their kings and queens of Valentine’s Day on Thursday.
Mike Evanto and Reta Dobbins were named king and queen at Assisted Living at Evergreen. Kari Barger, activities director, said it’s the one time of year they can get everyone together to have a big social where residents can enjoy each other’s company while sipping on root beer floats.
At the Madison Center, Clyde Edgell and Gloria McClendon took the titles of king and queen. When they were chosen, the kings and queens were adorned with crowns and sashes.
The Madison Center’s party included bright decorations and holiday cupcakes.
