Oscar Tshiebwe named McDonald’s All-American

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. — West Virginia men’s basketball recruit Oscar Tshiebwe will compete in the McDonald’s All-American game on March 27.
The 6-foot-9 center from Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage Pa.) high school is a five-star prospect who signed with the Mountaineers in November.
He will become the second WVU recruit to play in the prestigious all-star game, following Chris Brooks in 1986.
Tshiebwe, who is averaging more than 23 points per game this season, will play for the West squad in Atlanta. The game will be televised by ESPN.
