Week 12 AP top 25 ballot: Top 10 avoids chaos

MORGANTOWN — The top 10 avoided any upsets Saturday with Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame and Georgia remaining in the top four. Michigan continued its dominance against Rutgers, remaining at No. 5 and on the verge on breaking into the top four.

The rest of the top 10 includes No. 6 Oklahoma, No. 7 West Virginia, No. 8 Ohio State, No. 9 UCF and No. 10 Washington State.

The Mountaineers (8-1, 6-1) handed TCU its worst loss since 1991 in a 47-10 win at Milan Puskar Stadium. They’ll travel to Sillwater, Okla., to take on Oklahoma State at 3:30 p.m. next Saturday on ABC.

The Cowboys (5-5, 2-5) lost a heart-breaker to Oklahoma, failing on a 2-point conversion with a minute to go, falling 48-47.
