Preston woman charged with threatening state police, magistrate court personnel

KINGWOOD — A Tunnelton woman was in jail in lieu of $100,000 bond Monday after allegedly threatening state police and Preston Magistrate Court personnel.
Pamela Renee Rhodes, 51, is charged with two counts of making terroristic threats. According to criminal complaints by State Police Sgt. J.A. Wyatt:
On Thursday, the deputy director of field services for the West Virginia State Police advised the officer that a resident had made them aware of a Facebook post on Rhodes’ page. The post  said she was going to “blow up” the Kingwood Detachment of State Police.
On Aug. 8, the magistrate court received an unsigned letter via U.S. Mail from a Tunnelton address, “advising  they would hunt down and stomp,” anyone who sent someone looking for Duane Rhodes at that address, Pamela Rhodes confessed to authoring the letter.
