A man attempted to rob Books-A-Million at gunpoint Thursday night according to reports.
Witnesses said the man walked in to the Venture Drive bookstore around 7:25 p.m., showed a handgun and demanded money.
He is described as a white man, short and heavy set, and wearing a black hat, coat and shoes. He left the store and walked across a parking lot, witnesses said.
West Virginia State Police is investigating.
