Granville Police seek information about counterfeit incident, theft at Target

GRANVILLE — The Granville Police Department is looking for information regarding two incidents at Target. A man stole two cell phones from the store and another individual used counterfeit money to buy items, which were then returned for cash.

According to releases, on June 20 and, more recently, on July 21, a man used an electronic magnetic key and took two cell phones. The pair are valued at $350.

On Sept. 7, a man bought items with counterfeit $20 bills and returned the purchases, receiving $529.98 in cash.
