Man sentenced to 7 years in prison for distributing heroin

MORGANTOWN — A Michigan man was sentenced in federal court Thursday for selling heroin in Monongalia County.
Danzavious Dolphus, of Harper Woods, was sentenced to 7 years in prison, according to a press release from the U.S. Department of Justice Northern District of West Virginia
The 24-year-old pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of heroin in March. The crime occurred in Monongalia County in June 2017, the release stated.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Zelda E. Wesley. The Mon Metro Drug Task Force invested.
Senior U.S. District Judge Irene M. Keeley presided.
