Dennis William Capriotti, 66, of Kingwood, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2018, with family by his side.
He was born June 5, 1952, in Bakerton , a son of Mildred Capriotti- Wilson and the late William Capriotti.
Dennis was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.
Dennis started his working career at the Courtney Savage yard in Harpers Ferry. He was sales manager for Sheidow/Matthews and started Star Bronze, he was owner of Raintree Construction, worked as an underground mine surveyor and as a mechanic. He was a lay speaker at the Wesley United Methodist Church and a trustee, was on the Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce, a member of the 32° Preston Lodge # 90. He had a BS in Landscape Architecture.
He is also survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Peggy (White) Capriotti, a son, John Michael Capriotti (Krista); a brother, Gary Capriotti (Sharon); two grandchildren, Ryan and Sophia, several nieces and nephews and his loving dog J.J.
Family and friends may call at Browning Funeral Home, in Kingwood, from 2-4 p.m., on Saturday, June 30. A benefit dinner will be held at the VFW, in Kingwood Post 826, from 1-6 p.m., on Sunday, July 1 and friends may gather at Browning Funeral Home, at 11 a.m., on Monday, July 2, for the funeral service with Pastor Paul Rebelo officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery on Dogtown Road.
