Students to speak at Alumni Center
WVU dental students who recently returned from a service trip to Guatemala will speak about their experience at the Morgantown North Rotary meeting at 7 a.m. Wednesday, at the Erickson Alumni Center.
The public is welcome to attend. A light breakfast will be served, and there is free parking.

Friends of Deckers Creek to host event
Friends of Deckers Creek will host a wild-life education event at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Outdoor Learning Park, in Sabraton.
Mike Gray, of ABC Humane Animal Removal, will bring humanely captured critters and lead educational activities with kids. All are invited to attend and learn about the animals that live in our watershed.

DOH advises of closure this week
The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists of a road closure for pipe replacement on County Route 75/8, Ed Dunn Road from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday and Friday. There are no alternate routes. Only local traffic will be allowed.
Tire collection to be held Saturday

The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection’s Rehabilitation Environmental Action Plan program will host a tire collection from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at Walmart, off I-68 Exit 1, 75 Retail Circle, in Morgantown.
