American Red Cross fundraiser Taste of West Virginia set for June 14

The American Red Cross is once again helping to serve up some of the state’s best food, all under one roof, and all for a good cause.
From 5:30-8:30 p.m. June 14, the organization will host its 10th Annual Taste of West Virginia, at the Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place Hotel.
A favorite of area foodies, the event allows participants the opportunity to sample an array of bites from the area’s top restaurants. Chefs from each of the establishments will compete for one of seven culinary awards.
Tickets are $25 per person or $40 per couple and are available online at redcross.org/tasteofwv or at the door.
Chefs will compete for the following awards: Best Savory Dish, Best Sweet Dish, Best Vegetarian Dish, Best Bite, Best Presentation, People’s Choice and Taste of West Virginia.
A panel of judges will taste each dish and vote for the winners.
