Woman admits her involvement in an illegal firearms operation

CLARKSBURG — Margaret Parker, of Dellslow, has admitted to her involvement in an illegal firearms operation, United States Attorney Bill Powell announced.

Parker, 33, pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to violate federal firearms laws.
She admitted to being involved in a conspiracy that included making false statements to purchase firearms, trading firearms for controlled substances and transporting and selling the firearms in New York. The crime occurred in Morgantown, Monongalia County and elsewhere from May-June 2017.

Parker faces up to five years incarceration and a fine of up to $250,000.
