Emma Frazee

Emma Ruth (Lewis) Frazee, 87, of Lake Lynn (Blosser Hill), passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018, in the Point Manor Personal Care Home, in Point Marion; she had resided there for the past three years.  Born Feb. 25, 1931, at Blosser Hill, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Arizona (Newman) Lewis.

A 1948 graduate of Point Marion High School, Emma had worked for more than 20 years as a bookkeeper at Huntington Bank in Morgantown.  She loved her family, and was one of the most generous people in this world.  She enjoyed gardening and feeding the birds.  She could walk around any yard, and would come back with a four-leaf clover…always.

Surviving are her four children and their spouses, Charles and Cherie Frazee, Jr. of Raleigh, N.C., Emajean and Frankie Stafford of Morgantown, Donald and Michele Frazee of New Salem, Pa., and Donna and Justin Case of Stem, N.C.; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Merri and Don Henry, Anna  and Charles Stevens, Heather and Mike Page, Shelley Fox, Amanda and Thomas Stopski, Kelly and Jerry Jeannette, Stephanie Frazee, and Thomas Case; 12 great-grandchildren, Madison, Lauren, Sidney and Bryden Henry, Johanna Stevens, Trevor Page, Raegan Fox, Thomas Stopski, Jr., Taryn, Wyatt and Kaleb Stroop, and Zachary Rutan; one great-great-granddaughter, Lillian “Lily” Million; a sister, Fannie Watt, of Hopwood, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.  She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years, Charles W. Frazee, on May 20, 2007.  Also deceased are sisters, Ethel Clegg and Martha Karpal; and two grandchildren, Benjamin C. Frazee and Megan Case.

Honoring her wishes, there will be no public services.  Private interment will be with her husband in the Little Arlington Section of Evergreen Memorial Park, in Point Marion.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to the Patient’s Activities Account of Point Manor Personal Care Home, 300 Union St., Point Marion, PA  15474.  The family extends their sincerest thanks and gratitude to the staffs of  Point Manor and Amedisys Hospice for the loving  and tender care given to Emma during her illness.
