Paula E. Poland

Paula E. Poland, 94, of Tunnelton, died Monday, April 23, 2018, at Preston Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.

Paula was born April 16, 1924, in Tunnelton, a daughter of the late Evelyn Olea Wiles.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. View United Methodist Church, in Tunnelton.

She is survived by her daughters and spouses, Sharon and Melvin Jackson, of Albright, Beth and Gail Bowmar, Marsha Graham, Melinda and Bill Braham, all of Tunnelton; a daughter-in-law, Sharron Poland, of Tunnelton; nine grandchild-ren, Lori Collins, James Jackson, Melissa Hardy, Scott Wiles, Jeremy Poland, Danielle Poland, Joshua Graham, Jordan Graham and Megan Graham; six great-grandchildren, Kayla, Taylor, Allyson, Kait-lyn, Macy and Layla; and three great-great-grandchildren, Jayda, Carson and Bentley.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Harrison F. “Hezzy” Poland; her son, David F. Poland; son-in-law, Pickle Wiles; and great-great-granddaughter, Jordyan Collins.

Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel, 295 S. Price St., from 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, until the 2 p.m. funeral service with Pas-tor G. E. McCabe officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. View Cemetery, in Tunnelton.

The family requests that any memorial donations be made in Paula’s mem-ory to the Mt. View United Methodist Church or the Mt. View Cemetery, 1471 Bowmar Road, Tunnelton, WV 26444.
