KINGWOOD — It’s an evening of reggae and rock when the Tom Batchelor Band performs at 7 p.m. April 14 at the Preston Community Arts Center, 123 S. Price St., Kingwood. Tom Batchelor Band hails from Morgantown and plays originals and covers.
Batchelor has been playing music in the mountain state for 30 years, first as founding member of Rasta Rafiki, and now with his own band. They’ve released two full-length CDs of original material and perform all across the East Coast bringing renditions of world music to bars, concerts and festivals.
The price is $10 for adults and $5 for students through high school, payable at the door. Great food and drinks can be found next door at Brew Ha Ha, too.
